Q: Can I wear a life jacket?
A: Yes

Q: I am new to triathlons, how safe is the swim portion?
A: Our swim portion is very safe. We have swimming noodles that layout the swim portion, and participants can hold onto the noodles if needed. The Leech Lake Area Dive Team is also in the water both in their boat as well as Kayaks. If a participant needs help, they just need to raise an arm for assistance.

Q: What is a team?
A: Teams can be made up of two or three people. On a team of two, one member of the team will do on leg of the race, the other member of the team will do two legs of the race. For a team of three each member of the team will do one leg of the race.

Q: What will the water temperature be?
A: For this race, the water temperature is projected to range from cool to comfortable. On race day, surface temperatures in Leech Lake average around 65 degrees, only 8 degrees cooler than the average water temperature in July. If you are concerned, wet suits are allowed.
